Not my Mother's Wedgwood

I've grown up with the most amazing set of parents. They have taught me to appreciate so many things in life including family, faith, seeing the world and of course beautiful FINE CHINA! Waterford, Wedgwood, Beleek were all names I was quite familiar with by the age of 3.

Picture above from my mom's china cabinet, filled with Wedgwood and Waterford Crystal

The apreciation for China feels like its fading among my generation though. Some of it feels apropriate as designs have stayed pretty traditional among these Fine China brands. I was excited to see some beautiful MUCH MORE MODERN designs recently from Wedgwood. Check them out!

Even more my taste and style are Kelly Wearstler's new China designs for Pickard. These 2 are my favorite, while unfortunately an extreme stretch for my budget.

Hello Yellow . . . . Condo Color Palette

Clockwise from top: all by Kelly Wearstler: Bengal bazaar in bronze, Katana in ivory/ebony colorway, Gordian weave in ebony/greige colorway, Ombre Maize in Saffron colorway, Sea Urchin in Ebony/bone colorway.

So clearly I am in love with Kelly Wearstler fabrics and prints. Her Hollywood regency style is absolutely stunning. I've put together my fabric palette for my living room and they all happen to be her designs. . . by chance? Probably Not!
