Yesturday I visited some great antique and vintage shops with my brother. We spent our time in an area of Seattle called Georgetown which is 5 miles south of downtown and Seattle's oldest residential neigborhood. Its a mix of industrial business, a developing retail district and a great creative community with artist studios and small store front shops.
One of the shops I enjoyed was Kirk Albert Vintage Furnishings. Check out a few photos from the shop. Lots of interesting reclaimed and re-worked industrial metal and wood pieces that take on a whole new life thanks to Kirk's creative artistry

My favorite shop from our visit to Georgetown was Susan Wheeler Home. Her shop is stunning, a dynamic mix of glamourous vintage furniture pieces, mid century glass, and rough hewn industrial signs and deocorative objects that all combine to create her beautifully unique design aesthetic. Check out a few photos from her incredible shop below.
