I am sure my parents can recall that from age 3 onward I have always demanded a proper space to do my arts and crafts. Now 25 years later, not much has changed, there is nothing I love more than a beautiful home office space to do some of those same arts and crafts. . . I mean lets face it glitter glue is cool if you are 8 or 28. But now I have a few other interests that I could use the space for including my new blog and some interior design projects, sewing, ect.
I feel lucky to have a great condo floor plan with nice little den--perfect for a home office. Right now its just extra storage (mostly shoes of course) so time to find another place for those shoes and start transforming the space. Here are a few office spaces that while a little impractical for my needs, definitely inspire me.

I am absolutely in the love with the molding detail on these sliding doors. And look at the ceiling with diamond pattern detail. I love the contrast of the white trim and ceiling against the slate gray blue wall color.

This is such a chic look for an office, traditional and elegant. The star burst tabletop sculptures and lamp texture really catch my attention.
Photo 2 from Chic Study by Beckwith InteriorsOn the other side of the office space, check out the amazing settee sofa upholstered in the most gorgeous ombre zizag print. This space really shows off how beautiful a neutral color palette can be.
I love trestle desks. These 2 from Williams Sonoma are my top picks. I love the simplicity of the glass top but the chic black wood top with great drawer storage is also hard to pass up. The styling of these shots is also amazing. I am really loving the idea of smaller scale wingback chair for my office upholstered in a really modern print.
Look forward to tomorrow's post with ideas on what I am thinking for my office space.
