Designer Spotlight: Thom Felicia

Its been a little while since his 'Queer eye for the straight guy' TV days but Thom Felicia continues to be one of my favorite interior designers. He has a very elegant and livable style, one that he describes as "classic simplicity with unexpected modern flair". In addition to being an incredible interior designer, he has recently gotten into product design and developed an amazing line of furniture and home accessories true to unique, eclectic style.

Here are some of my favorite rooms and furniture pieces.

This space stands out in a beautiful way with the ivory bed playing off the cream stripes on the gray-blue walls.

One of my favorite color schemes, soft orange and blue-gray

This all white kitchen get its eclectic influence with the pair of rustic bar stools and large branch bouquet.

I am drawn to the symmetrical space plan of this living room with the 2 chaise lounges, matching pair of floor lamps and the great cream accent bench.

I love the eclectic mix of furniture in this space, from the upholstered settee, carved wood chairs and metal table base.

I appreciate the Greek and Egyptian influences he captures throughout his furniture line. One of the best examples of it is in this Greek klismos inspired chairs.

This upholstered chest is my favorite piece from his line. The cool nail head detail coupled with the cream leather make it standout piece.

Another great accent piece with elegant lines and a great combination of materials.
